Dr Jeannet Kessels began caring for the pets and families of Greater Springfield from her home in Camira over 25 years ago.

In 2006, when extra space and staffing was required, the Springfield Hospital (on Woodcrest Way) was established – trademarked by the famous, bright-red truck parked noticeably out the front. 

In 2015, Jeannet met the demand of the growing Greater Springfield community and opened a second hospital at Technology Drive in Augustine Heights. Purpose built, and with every detail carefully considered it soon became the ‘go-to’ place for exceptional veterinary and emergency vet care in the area.

In 2021, Jeannet opened her third Hospital at Eden’s Crossing – Redbank Plains at Mount Juillerat Drive. This beautiful new hospital has plenty of parking, a light filled reception area, seperate cat and dog hospital wards, surgical theatre, dental suite and radiology wing.

We rotate our staff through all three of our locations – so rest assured, wherever you choose to visit us, you’ll see a familiar face ready to care for your pet with ‘Excellence and Heart’. Just like it says on the tin.

 Greater Springfield Veterinary is independently owned to this day. Our incredible team of 36 (and growing!) have an outstanding reputation.
