Lead Veterinarian Wanted:

Our little team has grown to 50 staff and is showing no signs of slowing down! To enable growth within the business, our leadership team is seeking a new member.

The Role:

  • Full time 38hr or Part time 30hr week
  • Serving as a 2IC to the Vet Director, overseeing the day to day running of one of our hospitals, you will be integral in developing and implementing processes and procedures which help our ongoing commitment to excellent patient care.
  • This hands-on, predominantly clinical position has a rotational roster and offers a variety of consult, hospital, surgery and dental shifts.
  • Drive best practice through continuing education.

  • Salary package $110,000+ per annum + super commensurate with experience.
  • 1 week’s paid study leave + $2000 allowance towards continuing education (which rolls over each year).

About You:

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • 5+ years experience highly regarded.
  • Strong surgical, dental and/or medical skills.
  • An efficient working style and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills – We strive for open, effective and honest communication.
  • The ability to build and foster relationships with staff and clients alike – Relationships matter.
  • The ability to deal with adversity and take responsibility – to strive for outcomes, be accountable and make things happen.
