Meet The Team!
SENIOR GROOMER
Vee made the move from New Zealand and joined the GSV team in 2025.
With 8 years of experience in the grooming industry, Vee brings a calm, confident approach to every appointment. She is committed to achieving meticulous results and takes pride in working closely with owners to make sure their pet leaves the salon looking and feeling their best, every time.
Vee is skilled across all coat types – but especially enjoys breed specific styling and de-shedding (getting double coated breeds to that irresistible fluffy “marshmallow” status!).
When not in the salon, you’ll find Vee hiking with her dog, ‘Bones’ or competing in handling and styling Afghan Hounds for the show ring.

A gentle introduction to handling, this service is aimed at little floofs under 16 weeks of age and includes an eye/paw pad/sanitary clip, light brush out and nail clip – all completed while you wait! (Allow 15 mins).
**This FREE service is only available for pups who have visited for a prior appointment with our veterinary team.
A warm double wash and body massage using a coat-specific shampoo and conditioning treatment, followed by a thorough blow dry, bath and brush. We finish off with a spritz of cologne and send your dog home fresh and happy.
All dogs receive nail clipping and basic ear cleaning with this service.
This service may involve a matting fee, a style modification, or not be possible if heavy coat matting is present.

(Labrador, Pomeranian, Tibetan Spaniel, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Border Collie, Husky, Spitz etc).
(Please note, whilst a bath and blow dry service can help remove loose coat to some extent, in most cases, double coated dogs often benefit from a de-shedding groom instead – just ask us if you’re unsure!).
Recommended for dogs who are groomed on a 4-8 weekly schedule, this service includes a warm double wash and body massage using a coat-specific shampoo and conditioning treatment, followed by a tidy of the face, pads/paws, tail feathers and sanitary areas to keep your dog looking neat. We DO NOT clip hair off the body during this service.
This service is not applicable if coat matting is present (we will give you the option to upgrade to a comfort groom instead).
All dogs receive nail clipping and basic ear cleaning with this service.

Our most popular service includes a warm double wash and body massage using a coat specific shampoo and conditioning treatment, followed by a consistent, short length clip over the body and legs, and hand shaping/scissoring of the head, face, ears, and tail.

For dogs requiring a breed specific style or features, OR, for those requiring a longer length clip – both which involve hand-scissoring. We start with a warm double wash and gentle body massage using a coat-specific shampoo and conditioning treatment, then blow-dry and shape the coat.
All dogs receive nail clipping and basic ear cleaning with this service.

Our de-shedding service is most popular on double coated breeds like Golden Retrievers, Samoyeds, Husky’s, Shepherds and Collies. This service includes a warm double wash and body massage using a coat-specific shampoo and conditioning treatment, followed by a blow dry with a high velocity dryer, and intensive combing to remove loose undercoat. A basic ear clean, nail clip, sanitary clip and foot pad trim is included.
For those having a Style De-shed, we add finishing touches by shaping and scissoring the fringes of the undercarriage, chest, front legs, and ‘pantaloons’ (for that peachy round bum!).

(Our nursing team usually perform grooms for cats under sedation for lower stress and higher safety, depending on services required). Cat grooming services are available on Wednesdays at our Springfield Hospital.
