Participation: Participation in this offer is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Eligibility: Limited to one discount per pet. Available to dogs and cats aged 7 years and older without evident signs of illness.
Promotion Period: Our Senior Pet Promo runs from June 1st to July 31st at all Greater Springfield Veterinary locations.

Redemption: To redeem, bookings are essential. Appointments can be booked online at https://springfielddistrictvets.com.au/book-online/ or by calling your preferred GSV clinic. Mention this promo at the time of booking.
Non-Cash Redemption: Discount is not redeemable for cash, and the offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer.
Exclusions: This offer is not available to Pet Club members, as annual blood and urine tests are included as part of membership. Sign up to Our Pet Club to enjoy these benefits. Additionally, this offer is not valid towards any other service, treatment, or product not listed as part of the promotion. Additional treatments or medications required will incur costs, and your veterinarian can discuss this with you during your appointment if required.
Results: Results can be expected, by phone, within a few days of testing. If an abnormality is detected through the testing of blood, urine, or lump cells, a revisit consultation may be required to discuss the results in detail with your veterinarian. Regular revisit fees apply for any such consultation.
Consultation Hours: Senior Pet Promo consultations are available 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday at all GSV locations.

Up to 2 cytological lump aspirates

Senior Specific Consultation: Includes a full physical examination and discussion about your pet’s current health status.
Comprehensive Blood Panel: Includes a full biochemistry, electrolyte, complete blood cell count and thyroid panel, sent externally to IDEXX laboratories.
Urine Analysis: Includes an in-house urine specific gravity test and dipstick test. Please bring a fresh urine sample if possible; otherwise, it can be obtained during the consultation. Pets who are very difficult to obtain a urine sample from may forgo this test, or, collection via different means may require additional procedures at an additional cost.
Lump cytology involves inserting a needle into the centre of a mass, aspirating cellular material and examining the cellular content under a microscope. There are limitations to the information collected via cell aspiration as the cells collected may not tell the ‘whole story’ about what is happening within the tissue. A second opinion via an external pathologist may be required in this instance and may incur extra costs.
25% Off Hills Science Diet Foods: Applicable to 3.85kg bags of senior specific canine and feline senior diets including Metabolic+Mobility, K/d, J/d, and B/d. Food must be paid for in advance (as it will be specially ordered), and collected within 7 days of delivery notification.
Promo participants are entitled to $20 off arthritis injections (Beransa for dogs or Solensia for cats). Arthritis injections must be deemed suitable and prescribed by a veterinarian.
Promo participants are entitled to 25% off an annual vaccination (C5 for dogs and F3 + FIV for cats) if administered/required during the Senior Pet Promo appointment.
