veterinary DIRECTOR
BVSc (Hons)
I graduated with Honours from the University of Queensland in 2014 and have been with the GSV family since October, 2017.
I love all aspects of general practice and especially enjoy getting to know our pet parents through caring for their pets.
I am also highly passionate about leadership and enjoy assisting our vet team to grow professionally and personally.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time at the gym, hanging out with my husband, playing the latest computer games, exploring new dog walking spots and playing volleyball.
I have a geriatric, anxiety plagued Beagle ‘Cindy’ and a (thankfully!) low-maintenance cat called ‘Sasha’.

BVSc (Hons), GPCert (Small Animal Medicine)
I graduated with Honours from the University of Queensland in 2009 and have been with the GSV family ever since.
My special area of interest is internal medicine (especially endocrinology) – I am currently undertaking additional study towards a Small Animal Medicine Certification.
I enjoy baking, yoga and boxing, and (fun fact) I have a twin sister who is ALSO a veterinarian!
I share my home with my hubby, and ‘Chester’ the Groodle.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT LEADER
(Surgery)
BVSc (Hons)
I graduated with Honours from the University of Queensland in 2007.
I began my career with GSV in 2008.
I’m passionate about the client/vet bond and and strongly connect with our ‘Excellence With Heart’ motto. I aim to deliver excellent all-round GP services.
My main area of interest is dentistry. Oral pain in pets often goes unnoticed – by recognising and addressing issues that are sometimes overlooked, I know I can help to make a big difference in their everyday lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy horse riding, tending to my veggie patch and spending time with my family and Cavoodle, ‘Asha’.
VETERINARIAN
BVSc, MANZCVS (Behaviour)
I graduated from James Cook University in 2013 and joined the GSV team in 2024.
In 2021, I earned my Veterinary Behaviour Memberships, solidifying my dedication to helping pets often considered ‘difficult’ and supporting the families who care for them. My goal is to ensure comfort for all pets, whether behavioral or otherwise, so they and their owners can fully enjoy their time together.
I specialise in creating positive, stress-free experiences for pets and their carers during veterinary visits. I also have a great interest in working with senior pets, enhancing their quality of life and helping them thrive in their golden years.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my menagerie of pets and young family.

(CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE)
I graduated with Honours from the University of Queensland 2017 and joined the GSV team in May 2021.
My veterinary interests include general surgery, ultrasonography, behaviour, dentistry and post-operative rehabilitation.
Outside of work I enjoy hiking, water-colour painting and baking.Â
I’m a Springfield local and have recently moved into my ‘forever’ house. The first thing I did after settling in was adopt my dream doggo – a Golden Retriever baby (named ‘Cluedo’) who is a handful!

Originally from Japan, I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2014. I joined the GSV team in October, 2020.

DVM
I graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2019. I joined the GSV team in 2022.
My special interest is general practice medicine with a big emphasis on ‘wellness’.
I have a strong passion for the environment and am a proud member of the GSV ‘Climate Care’ team, which strives to make our veterinary hospitals as environmentally sustainable as possible.
My partner (who is also a vet) and I made the move to Queensland in early 2022 to chase the sun and the surf. We are enjoying exploring the state with our fur baby, âFigâ the Labradoodle.
VETERINARIAN
BVSc (Hons)
I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2020 and started working at GSV in 2022.
My special area of interest is welfare medicine. My career actually began in an animal  shelter, which provided wonderful opportunities for me in the areas of surgery and general wellness medicine. I love feeling like I am ‘making a difference’ – improving quality of life for my patients.
Outside of work I enjoy travelling and spending time with my pets.
VETERINARIAN
BVSc (Hons)
Graduating from The University of Queensland in 2024, Liz worked as a veterinary nurse in specialist hospitals throughout her veterinary studies, gaining valuable experience in referral and emergency medicine before joining our team.
She has completed a Certificate in Recover® (Animal CPR), has a particular passion for emergency and critical care cases, and anything feline related.
When she’s not at work, Liz loves spending time at the beach, travelling, or enjoying a quiet night at home with a cocktail. Liz is also one of those rare people who doesn’t drink coffee or tea… we still haven’t figured out how she has so much energy!
Her furry family includes her Kelpie cross – Mira, and cats Millie and Luna.
VETERINARIAN
BVSc
I graduated from James Cook University in 2023 and joined the GSV team in 2025. Since then, I have loved being part of a supportive clinic environment where I can continue to grow as a veterinarian and build meaningful relationships with both clients and their pets.
I enjoy all aspects of general practice veterinary medicine and find it incredibly rewarding to support pets through every stage of life, whether that means helping them stay healthy with routine care or guiding their families through more complex medical and surgical needs. I especially value the connections I build with my team, clients, and their animals, and I genuinely love coming to work each day.
Outside of work, I enjoy crafting, trying new hobbies, and travelling with my partner, who is also a vet. At home, my pet family includes two cats, as well as any stray or foster kittens I happen to bring home from work.

BVSc (Hons)
Joanna graduated from The University of Queensland in 2022 and enjoys all aspects of general practice.
She loves building strong relationships with clients and believes that helping owners understand their pet’s health is an important part of achieving the best outcomes.
Outside of work, Joanna loves hiking, travelling, and tackling escape rooms. At home, she’s kept busy by her three pets: Rory, a Labrador cross, Alby, a Border Collie, and Nitro, a Domestic Medium Hair cat.
Joanna is a total overachiever (we love her for it!) – she completed the Everest Base Camp trek in 2024, holds a pilot’s licence, and spent four years coaching gymnastics.
