Customer Care Position (permanent 30-38 hour/wk)

Position Overview:

  • Providing outstanding customer service.
  • Warmly and efficiently greeting clients and their pets.
  • Communicating with clients via various means including by phone and email.
  • Schedule management: making bookings and organising/understanding a multi-practitioner, three-hospital schedule.
  • Being the organisational link between our clients, veterinarians and nurses.
  • Administrative tasks such as banking, mail runs, billing/invoicing, debt collection, resolution and maintenance of internal system.
  • Inventory management and ordering of supplies.
  • Working between three, busy and diverse receptions.
  • Attending to a multi-line phone system.
  • Providing efficient and accurate transactions.
  • Maintenance of reception areas and consulting rooms: ensuring cleanliness and providing high levels of infection control.
 
This permanent position is available 30 to 38 hours per week with shifts on a rotating roster Monday to Saturday between 7am and 8pm.
Remuneration will be based upon experience.

Role Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Proven experience in a front facing Customer Service role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and software.
  • Compassion for animals and a genuine desire to provide excellent client service to their owners
  • The ability to work effectively within a team, and autonomously.
