Customer Care Position (permanent 30-38 hour/wk)

Greater Springfield Veterinary is looking for a receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice and deliver outstanding service to our wonderful clients and their beloved pets.

Position Overview

As a Customer Care team member you will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining a seamless customer experience.

This permanent position is available part-time, 30 hours per week with shifts on a rotating roster Monday to Saturday, with hours between 7am and 8pm weekdays, and 7am and 3pm on Saturdays.

Day-To-Day, You’ll:

  • Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism.
  • Manage appointments and reminders.
  • Handle phone calls (Multi-line phone system), emails, and client enquiries.
  • Process payments and invoices accurately.
  • Maintain client records and files.
  • Support the clinic with a variety of administrative tasks.
  • Help maintain front-facing hygiene standards.

Qualifications

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • A passion for people and the genuine desire to provide excellent client service.
  • Previous receptionist or customer service experience (veterinary/healthcare background highly regarded).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Great organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle priorities in a busy environment.
  • Confidence with basic computer software and typing (no experience with medical software necessary).
  • A collaborative mindset.
