TERMS & CONDITIONS – GROOMING

General:

  • All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations. If you dogs vaccination was not carried out at Greater Springfield Veterinary, a vaccination certificate must be presented at the time of admission.
  • All dogs must be of a suitable temperament for grooming to be carried out.
  • If we notice fleas on your dog, a flea treatment will be administered at your expense.
  • Upon collection of your pet, please inspect your dog’s groom and let us know if you would like any changes to be made. We welcome your feedback and are happy to make any changes within 24 hours of your appointment. Changes outside of this timeframe will incur normal grooming fees.

Grooming:

  • The Greater Springfield Veterinary professional grooming team reserves the right to modify hairstyle and price in accordance with coat condition as this is in the interest of your dog’s welfare.
  • All grooming services include a bath, blow dry, nail clip and ear clean. We cannot perform any styling or coat clipping unless we have bathed your dog due to excessive wear and tear on styling tools caused by dirty coats.
  • Breed specific and tidy groom services require your dog’s coat to be well maintained in order to provide these services.
  • For cases with excessive matting and knots through the coat, a full groom service will be provided and coat length may ultimately be short.

Cancellation:

  • An appointment reminder SMS will be sent to you 72 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Please respond to this message by close of business on the day you receive the SMS. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please phone us immediately.
  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more ahead of the scheduled visit will incur no fee.
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice, and/or no-shows on the day will incur the full fee of your dog’s groom. 
  • If your grooming spot is able to be filled at the last minute by someone on our waitlist, the full fee will be refunded to you.
