Greater Springfield Veterinary is looking for a 2IC to support our Customer Care and Relationship Manager. 

This front facing role will assist in the leadership and organisation of a team of 7 receptionists across three hospitals and have a strong focus on systems and development.

Experience and Qualification Requirements:

Previous experience in the veterinary industry is essential. Furthermore, applicants who have an appropriate leadership or customer service certificates will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Schedule management and reception duties
  • Supporting the customer care manager as a 2IC by accepting low level customer complaints. 
  • Identifying skill gaps within the team and communicate with HOD’s to ensure training, support and coaching can be provided.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement for our customers through high level work practices and systems.
  • Ensuring the delivery of professional, caring, and friendly services to our wonderful clients. 

A 38 hour/week roster will be set. Alternating shift patterns between the hours of 7.00am and 8.00pm will be shared (Sundays and public holiday work not required).

Remuneration will be based upon experience.
